camping essentials listThe holidays are just around the corner. We only have the last stretch of July left and the camping season begins.

August is the month of rest, of relaxation, of disconnection from everyday life and of the pleasure of being able to enjoy nature in its pure state.

Surely, like us, You're already counting the days until the well-deserved rest arrives. You already have the camping spot reserved, the family organized and all that remains is to pack everything and everyone up and hit the road!

The best thing is to arrive at the campsite and realize that you don't lack anything from the comfort of your home. But it's easy to say it, a little harder to achieve it... Every year you promise yourself that you will never forget those binoculars, batteries for flashlights or a simple comb... and When you arrive at the campsite, something is always missing

At COMANCHE we have also experienced it and every year we complete our camping essentials list so that next season “we don't get caught off guard.”

So, to save you the stress of preparing for your trip and to bring the comfort of your home with you, here is our list of essentials so that you have everything you need at your campsite this year.

LIST OF MUST-HAVES FOR CAMPING

To sleep

  • The tent or your trailer tent
  • Sleeping bag or a set of sheets
  • Inflatable mattresses and pump (you won't need them in Comanche trailers, they already have mattresses)
  • Pillows with their covers
  • Waterproof tarpaulin or tent floor (to isolate moisture in case of rain)
  • Sheets and blankets
  • Pajamas

 

For cooking

  • Portable kitchen
  • Camping gas
  • Lighter
  • Small fridge
  • Accessories: tweezers, scissors, cutlery, multi-purpose knife
  • Plates, glasses, pots and pans
  • Foil
  • Folding table and chairs
  • Stackable Tupperware to save space
  • Kitchen paper, napkins
  • Coffee maker
  • Kettle
  • Garbage bags

 

For grooming

  • Soap, gel, shampoo, deodorant
  • Toothpaste and toothbrushes
  • Combs and brushes
  • Razor blades and foam / electric epilator
  • Towels
  • Folding clothesline for drying clothes and clothespins
  • Toilet paper (1 roll for the trip, always available at campsites)
  • Clinex (paper tissues)
  • Sunscreen and After Sun
  • Anti-mosquito and soothing for bites
  • A basic first aid kit

To dress

  • Warm clothing
  • Sweatshirts
  • Raincoats
  • Gumboots
  • Track-suit
  • Underwear
  • Socks
  • Comfortable shoes, sneakers
  • Swimsuits and flip flops
  • Caps and sunglasses

Extra extra

  • Camera and binoculars
  • Ropes, tarps, extra poles
  • Flashlight and batteries
  • Mobile phone and charger
  • Dishwashing liquid, scouring pad, detergent
  • Bucket or basket to carry dirty dishes and/or clothes
  • Toys for cars, beach toys, table toys, bikes
  • Video game console, tablet, MP3, book, e-book, sketchbooks
  • Tool kit (hammer for pickaxes)
  • Backpacks, canteens
  • Documentation

With all this, You are now ready for camping. You will not lack anything to have a good time during the holidays. You have everything you need for sleeping, cooking, hygiene and kitchen. We also did not forget the little ones so that they are always busy and entertained.
