The Class B permit is sufficient to tow trailers with a GVW* less than or equal to 750 Kg.
In the case of trailers over 750 kg, it is sufficient as long as:

• The MMA* of the trailer is less than the tare weight of the vehicle.
• The sum of the MMA* of the trailer + MMA* of the vehicle is less than 3,500Kg.

If you do not comply with the previous conditions, the B+E card is required.

* MMA: maximum authorized mass.

• In trailers of less than 750 kg. They are covered with the same vehicle insurance as long as the company is notified.
• In trailers over 750 kg. If they need independent insurance.

• All trailers must have a stamped identification number and a rating plate.
• This numbering must coincide with the trailer's technical sheet.

• These trailers are not registered.
• They need a technical sheet issued by their manufacturer.
• They do not pay road tax.
• They travel with vehicle insurance, but this must be communicated to the insurance company.
• They must carry a copy of the vehicle's license plate behind them.

• These trailers must be registered by the traffic department and consequently pay road tax and insurance separately.
• They need a technical sheet issued by their manufacturer.
• They have two license plates on the back: the one from the red trailer, and the copy from the towing vehicle.
• They must have a reversing light.
• It will undergo periodic MOT inspections.

• That this be delivered with the relevant documentation.
• Have the appropriate license for your drag.
• That the MMR* of the towing vehicle allows it to be towed.
• It is necessary to carry a fire extinguisher.
• The weight you want to carry.
• The functions that must be fulfilled.

* MMR: Maximum Towable Mass, indicates the maximum MMA that the trailer to be towed can have.

• Do not exceed the load kilos.
• Grease the hitch in all its points every year.
• Check the lights when the trailer is hitched to the vehicle.
• Check tire pressure every six months.
